Habitat needs and welcomes talents and skills at all levels and in any amount of time involvement. Construction workers do not have to have experience -- on the job training is always available. This effort is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and at the same time contribute to those in need. It is also an opportunity to get to know and enjoy the company of others on a regular basis. Our committees are key to enabling our mission and a variety of talents are needed there. Our office operation is supported by volunteers, and more are welcome. One of our greatest needs is for knowledgeable builders who can serve as construction supervisors. If funds allow, our Habitat affiliate might consider a part-time salary to fill this need. Another possibility is to find several experienced people who would be willing to contribute one or two days a year to complement the experience we already have.
