History of Our Local Affiliate
Family Homes:

Our affiliate was founded in Richmond County in 1993.

The first three homes were completed in 1995, 1998 and 1999.
The affiliate expanded to Westmoreland in the year 2000.

The fourth home was completed in Hague,Westmoreland County in 2000.

The fifth home was completed in Richmond County in 2001.

The sixth home was built in Cabin Point, Westmoreland County in 2003.

The seventh (2004),ninth(2006),and eleventh(2008)homes were built in Emmerton, Richmond County.

The eight(2005)and tenth(2007) homes were completed in Colonial Beach and Glebe Harbor, Westmoreland County.

To date every one of our houses has been built on land donated to our affiliate. Our Partners In partnership with Cople Parish Church, we applied for and received a grant from the Jesse Ball Foundation in 2003 and that enabled us to hire a part-time Executive Director The Durham foundation has also given us grants for several consecutive years.
